Title : Advisor, Learning Solutions - Participant Programs

Employee Working Location : Remote (Canada)

Salary Band : $59,870 - $74,837 / year

In this role, you will :

Responsibility 1 : Manage Participant-level First Aid Programs

  • Develop, implement, and maintain program evaluation processes for participant-level First Aid programs.
  • Lead the creation and execution of policies, standards, communications, and operating procedures for participant-level First Aid programming.
  • Create and maintain professional development resources to support the consistent delivery of First Aid programs across Canada.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and refine participant-level course content and structures to meet market and program standards.
  • Contribute to long-term planning discussions to set strategic goals and performance standards for participant-level programs.

Responsibility 2 : Provide Support to the First Aid Program

  • Lead project work related to participant-level programs, including content updates and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain pilot testing strategies for new products, tools, and processes to ensure effective implementation.
  • Ensure learning interventions are effective, current, accessible, inclusive, and comply with federal/provincial regulations.
  • Conduct and/or contribute to research to identify emerging opportunities to evolve the Canadian Red Cross's First Aid portfolio in various learning contexts.
  • Contribute to program evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness and relevance of participant-level programs.

Responsibility 3 : Support Quality Assurance

  • Collaborate with the Program Development team to identify trends in quality assurance issues related to participant-level programs.
  • Develop strategies and tools to proactively address and mitigate recurring quality assurance issues.
  • Provide support in investigating and resolving quality issues, ensuring improvements in program design, standards, and delivery methods.
  • Develop reports on quality assurance trends and recommend actionable solutions to maintain program integrity.

What we are looking for :

  • A university degree/diploma in Education or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to create custom learning interventions for diverse learner profiles and communities.
  • Experience managing volunteer resources.
  • Knowledge of the CRC First Aid Program Suite and standards.
  • Knowledge of Professional Responder programs such as Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and First Responder (FR).
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working in collaborative, team-based environments.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office 365.
  • Familiarity with various learning principles, including instructor-led, peer-led, and self-directed approaches is considered an asset.
  • Experience in program development, including framework mapping and learning objective creation is considered an asset.
  • Certification in Canadian Red Cross First Aid or other Prevention & Safety education programs is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required, French is an asset.

Working Conditions :

  • Most work is performed in a clean, comfortable environment, with virtual team collaboration being the norm.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract are required.
  • Ability to travel is required.
