About the Opportunity
- Collaborates with the Senior Director, Operations Ontario & Lifestyle Communities, and the Senior Operating Team to develop operating plans that support the achievement and monitoring of organizational and strategic objectives.
- Develops a strong, cohesive Regional Senior Management Team that includes both direct reports and corporate Subject Matters Experts
- Accountable for site adherence to the organization's Path to Blue, including operational standards, and Guiding Principles
- Works with the Development team and maintains superior relationships with external approval agencies, municipal staff, and community groups.
- Demonstrates strong financial stewardship and accountability for budget adherence, financial performance, and contribution of the region for existing and start-up operations.
- Facilitates change management processes as initiatives are established.

- Works to build strong relationships within your team and beyond, including residents, their families, external stakeholders, and the communities in which we work.
- Promotes a safety culture by providing leadership and taking every reasonable precaution in the circumstances to ensure the health and safety of employees and all others in the workplace.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- An undergraduate degree in business, healthcare, or related discipline
- Over ten years of progressive experience in business, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Broad business experience from an operating and management perspective.
- A master's degree in business or related discipline, considered an asset
- A Strong financial acumen.
- Experience in real estate and property development, ideally within the Senior Living sector.
- Demonstrated strong problem solving, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in both unionized and non-unionized environments.
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
