Job Description:

Operational Support:

  • Proactively identify key business opportunities, research and recommend system enhancement/modifications, develop strategies to achieve recommendations and work closely with system support to execute and implement system upgrades/enhancements
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of policies, processes and procedures
  • Provide subject matter expertise and help identify, design, test solutions and support implementation activities.
  • Develop and provide complex reporting, analysis and assessments.
  • Act as a key contributor to strategic initiatives, functional projects/programs and/or internal/external working groups and may sign off on projects of small scale and/or complexity
  • Create and deliver presentations and communications geared to varied levels of management and/or broader audience.

Risk and Compliance Management:

  • Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements, including AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) guidelines.
  • Identify operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, maintaining strict adherence to operational standards.

Process Improvement and Efficiency:

  • Continuously assess operational processes for efficiency and identify areas for improvement, such as automation or enhanced workflow tools.
  • Apply knowledge of end-to-end processes and regulatory requirements to drive efficiency and identify process improvement initiatives.
  • Help the business execute on change, supporting adherence, tracking and realizing benefits.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Support and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the team's effectiveness and operational accuracy.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, outlining operational performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Undergraduate Degree/College Diploma in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years banking experience
  • Skills:
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Experience with process improvement and automation within an operations environment.
