Job Title: Sales Associate
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shift/Hours: 40 Hours per Week (Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

Assignment Information:

Advantage Personnel is currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual on behalf of our Client as a Sales Associate for Outdoor Power Equipment & Parts. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a wide range of outdoor power equipment and parts to both retail and commercial customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a passion for customer service and sales.

Job Responsibilities:

*Sell a variety of outdoor power equipment and parts to retail and commercial customers.
*Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and offering product recommendations.
*Process payments and invoices using the company's computer system (cash and card payments).
*Maintain and organize the showroom, ensuring products are well-merchandised and accurately priced.
*Stay up-to-date with product knowledge provided by manufacturers.
*Communicate with commercial customers for business-to-business sales as needed.
*Answer customer calls, take messages, and address customer inquiries.
*Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and efficient working environment.
*Assist in stocking the warehouse and showroom, including parts and equipment.
*Perform other duties as required.

Candidate Qualifications:

*Previous sales experience (preferably in outdoor power equipment or a similar field).
*Strong customer service and communication skills.
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*Basic computer skills and ability to learn the company's invoicing system.
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Must be able to work under pressure.
*Must be an extrovert with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with customers.
