You'll empower startup founders to validate ideas, overcome obstacles, and achieve critical milestones using Volta's proven coaching frameworks.

This is a role for someone passionate about AI Startups, driven to continuously improve, and deeply empathetic to the journey founders face as they build their businesses.

What You'll Do

Founder Development & Coaching

• Build trust-based, high-value relationships with startup founders.
• Guide startups through Volta's structured milestones, with a focus on helping AI software startups achieve key growth and development goals towards generating their first $1M in revenue.
• Use measurable metrics in Team (Founder Journey, Employees, Engagement, Mindset), Traction (Market driven), and Technology to ensure teams are consistently moving along on all fronts.
• Identify challenges early, provide actionable solutions, and empower founders to move forward confidently by leveraging Volta's roster of subject matter experts over and above the coaching you offer them.
• Continuously refine your coaching strategies to ensure long-term, sustainable outcomes.

Progress Tracking & Accountability

• Partner with founders to establish and monitor meaningful growth metrics.
• Leverage AI tools and Volta's Impact OS to document and track coaching sessions, progress metrics, and founder milestones.
• Deliver empathetic, constructive feedback to foster growth and improvement.
• Document insights and lessons learned to enhance collective knowledge.
• Regular reporting on each Startup's progress and collaboratively work with the Volta Startup Success team in optimizing support for each startup

Community Leadership

• Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative environment that celebrates diverse perspectives.
• Facilitate meaningful connections between founders to inspire partnerships and shared knowledge.
• Champion open communication and transparency within the startup community.

Experience & Skills

We're looking for someone who has been in the trenches of building a tech startup-whether as a founder or an early employee. You've lived the challenges, felt the pressures, and celebrated the wins of startup life, bringing a deep, empathetic understanding of what founders go through as they establish and grow their businesses.

In addition to your startup experience, you have:

• Strong coaching and advisory expertise, with a proven ability to guide founders on their journey to achieving their first $1M in revenue. You know how to reduce risk, accelerate progress, and provide actionable insights while respecting that founders are always in the driver's seat, owning both the decisions and the risks.
• A mindset that's never satisfied with the status quo-always pushing for innovation, improvement, and better ways to serve the founders and the community.
• A deep appreciation for and knowledge of the Sydney startup landscape, recognizing the unique opportunities and challenges of this ecosystem.
• A passion for AI advancements, with a strong understanding of the latest tools, technologies, and their applications. You actively leverage AI in your own work and stay curious about what's possible in today's landscape.
• A knack for learning new technologies and applying them effectively, especially for documentation, productivity, and streamlining processes.
• A people-first approach, capable of building trust-based relationships and empathetically journeying alongside founders as they tackle the complexities of entrepreneurship.
• Knowledge of startup operations, growth metrics, and risk mitigation strategies, along with a founder-centric model built by founders for founders.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $80k per year
• Work Commitment: 37.5 hours per week.
