We are currently looking for a Gas1 or Gas 2 Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, our ideal candidate has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for the daily repair and emergency breakdown of machinery. This is a 4-day/week full-time position.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Gas Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance on existing systems, and installing new equipment.
• Perform maintenance, and repairs on different sizes and types of propane burner systems throughout the plant. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety codes and manufacturer instructions.
• Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic diagrams

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Gas 1 or Gas 2 Technician
• Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
• Able to problem solve and use critical thinking and decision making skills
• Able to follow oral and written directions
• Able to function well in a team environment and to communicate clearly with others
• Being flexible and adaptable
• Able to work with minimal supervision
