Project Coordinator

We are seeking a fulltime Project Coordinator in our Barrie, ON office. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project teams to deliver engineering solutions on time and within budget. You'll act as a central point of communication, ensuring seamless coordination among clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in the engineering or construction sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools including MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Duties:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
- Support the team with maintaining, tracking, and reporting on projects and initiatives.
- Support proposal staffing submissions and overall proposal coordination.
- Keep track of project timelines, support requests, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project and portfolio performance indicators and coordinate invoicing.
- Gather, analyze, and compile information from project teams and tools in order to produce documentation to be reviewed by senior engineers and scientists.
- Provide assistance and advice to project managers and project leads related to their project documentation and data management.
- Participate in the definition and implementation of various processes within a growing division.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all work performed and meet critical deadlines.
- Collaborate with GEMTEC personnel across Canada.
- Performing other related duties as required.
- Adhering to all company policies.
Position:
- Full time (37.5 hours per week)
