Job Description:

Provide research, evaluation, operational, reporting and / or analytical support for assigned vendor relationships and/or business units with the objective to drive operational efficiencies, savings and oversight, in alignment with business and enterprise goals. Role may also be responsible for complex analysis and reporting at the enterprise level.

  • Support the Vendor Manager in managing multiple vendor relationships across a wide variety of products and services

  • Support contract, financial and risk management activities

  • Manage and own end-to-end process to deliver vendor performance scorecard and governance meeting presentation material targeted for the senior executive audience

  • Conduct complex analysis and develop business vendor management reports and dashboards

  • Maintain the LOB vendor documents repository and dashboards.

  • Keep track of various one-time and recurring activities and deadlines across the vendor portfolio, such as contract renewals, SOC2 reviews, PCI compliance, COI

  • Participate in working sessions and facilitate meetings and related materials to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal TD partners and the vendor to ensure business requirements are met and objectives are aligned

  • Ongoing Vendor performance monitoring to ensure vendors meet SLAs - with assigned LOB 3rd party relationship managers

  • Identification of potential cost savings through monitoring of vendor spend and operational activities.

  • Facilitate NDA provisioning

Job Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong spreadsheet, data analytics or equivalent BI experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Advanced expertise in tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, VBA, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook

  • Ability to tackle complex projects with data from various disparate sources and deliver succinct, accurate and actionable information

  • Biased towards continuous improvement, simplification and efficiency

  • Previous vendor management experience is an asset

  • Knowledge of SSG and Risk roles and the TPRA process would be an asset

  • Previous Business Management and Reporting experiences would be an asset

  • Moderate ability to understand legal language and contract contents

  • Passionate for technology and emerging industry trends

  • Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple team and client demands concurrently

  • Excellent customer service orientation and a professional approach
