In this role, you will :
- Reach out to small to medium business to solicit corporate donations and/or organize workplace campaigns, based on established targets.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with the business community to drive workplace campaigns and corporate giving.
- Support the development of partnerships as assigned.
- Design and coordinate fundraising campaigns based on established targets.
- Develop and implement digital fundraising activities based on the national and geographic strategies.
- Act as a Canadian Red Cross representative with partners and community leaders.
- Work collaboratively with the Volunteer Resources department to recruit, engage and coach fundraising teams to meet the established targets.
- Serve on various national committees.
- Establish and implement a volunteer structure based on the operational strategy (as required).
- Be available to support domestic and international emergency appeals.
What we are looking for :
- College diploma in administration, humanities or an equivalent (marketing option).
- Three years of fundraising experience.
- Experience working with business leaders.
- Experience working with a volunteer network is considered an asset.
- Proven ability to develop partnerships with small and medium business businesses.
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite and databases.
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems or donor databases is considered an asset.
Working Conditions :
- This position is unionized, permanent and full time at 35 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule, and sometimes non-traditional hours as required.
- Most of the work will be performed in an office environment, with a hybrid model combining working from home and at the Red Cross office.
- Travel within the province and across Canada may be required.
