The Opportunity

We're inviting applications from highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as People & Office Experience Administrator! Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the Administrator will assist with HR administration, recruitment, benefits, performance management, and learning & development, while also helping to manage office operations and ensure our workspace remains inviting and efficient. If you're passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience, are organized, and detail-oriented, we want to hear from you!

Your key activities will include:

HR Administration Support

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in all elements of the recruitment and onboarding process, from creating and posting job ads, to participation in employee onboarding.
  • Coordinate and track learning and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions and assisting with onboarding for new employees.
  • Support the management of employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication with employees.
  • Assist in the performance management process by developing and coordinating the necessary documentation for performance reviews and goal tracking.
  • Monitor and review activities to ensure all processes are executed in compliance with internal controls.
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities as required.

Facilities & Office Management:

  • Support on all elements of office space planning, including coordinating seating arrangements, engaging with vendors, conducting research, and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring the workspace is well-organized and conducive to productivity.
  • Coordinate with facilities vendors for regular office maintenance, including repairs, cleaning services, and supplies.
  • Manage office key distribution and access control.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, with a concentration in Human Resources.
  • Foundational knowledge of key HR principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills with client care excellence and the ability to build connections.
  • A high standard of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information both internally and externally.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience with ADP / Workforce Now Software would be considered an asset.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment would be considered an asset.

Salary Range: $51,100 - $71,500
