Job Description:
This position provides dedicated support, and reports to, two distinct programs areas: Rehabilitative Services and the Baie Verte Family Care Team. The incumbent will receive clinical supervision and professional practice oversight by the Physiotherapy clinical leadership both regionally and provincially.

The Physiotherapist II will work autonomously with clients, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team, to identify, achieve, and maintain optimal health outcomes. Physiotherapy care will be provided to diverse and vulnerable populations. Care will be provided face to face and virtually as necessary and appropriate. The successful candidate will be committed to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements.

The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care and demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Travel throughout the region may be required to support the delivery of physiotherapy services to other regional sites, family care teams, and long-term care facilities within Central Zone as needed. The incumbent will be expected to precept physiotherapy students and offer other clinical education experiences to students within NLHS.

Rehabilitative Services & Family Care Team Services;
This position provides a blended approach to primary and tertiary care. The incumbent will be expected to apply advanced clinical reasoning to establish a physiotherapy diagnosis, prognosis, and management plan that considers the complex personal, social, cultural, and environmental factors that contribute to a person's functioning and health.

This Rehabilitative Services position provides physiotherapy interventions in acute care, outpatients, long-term care, and community settings. The Family Care Team service takes a population health approach, and the role will include the development and implementation of primary care group programming.

Required qualifications:

• Current registration with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Physiotherapists.
• A minimum of three years' experience within the last five working as a Clinical Physiotherapist with an adult outpatient population.
