We are searching for a Temporary part-time Recreation Coordinator to join our Monarch Hall team based in Riverview, New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity
- Assisting with planning, implementing and evaluating internal and external recreation programs focusing on emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual needs of the clients;
- Conducting recreation programs in a variety of settings, such as large groups, small groups and one-to-one;
- Preparing rooms, materials and equipment for recreation programs;
- Motivating and facilitating client participation in recreation programs and involvement with the community;
- Documenting client progress evaluations, admission assessments and other reports as required;
- Maintaining accurate client participation records; analyzes data to assist in the development of appropriate programs;
- Assisting in the training, supervision, and evaluation of volunteers and student placements.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- A high-school diploma or equivalent education;
- A post-secondary education in a relative field considered a strong asset and is preferred;
- Advanced proficiency in the English language is required, proficiency in French considered an asset;
- You are an energetic, compassionate person who enjoys working with the elderly and has experience in programming and planning for seniors in a recreational environment;
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate considered an asset;
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire;
- Class 4 Driver's License considered an asset;
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
