Position Summary
The PTA/OTA works under the direct supervision of the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to assist with treatment/services to maintain the physiotherapy/occupational therapy department and equipment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
- Previous experience as a PTA/OTA an asset, experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
- Ability to communicate well with residents, their families and staff.
- Ability to lift and transfer residents.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work in an organized manner.
- Co-operative with good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary range: $44,753 to $50,583 per year
