Finance and Treasury Board has an opening for a Permanent Full-Time Clerk within the Revenue Administration Division.

Reporting to the Tax Accounting Manager, the Clerk - Equalized Payment Plan will be responsible for:

  • Assists in administering the property tax equalized payment program (EPP) including; setting up new applicants to program, facilitating client requested changes such as deregistration and bank account changes.
  • Responsible for processing chargebacks (NSF payments), terminations and adjustments within the system
  • Respond and manage incoming and outgoing email/mail/notices related to the EPP program.
  • Ensure daily reconciliations are completed and follow troubleshooting and error correction processes
  • Record management standards that must be followed each day and for every type of transaction.
  • Provide bilingual telephone and email services regarding the program.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma OR GED plus a minimum of 2 years of related administrative work experience.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language of preference.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: The successful candidate will possess the following technical competencies: Ability to use office technology, software and application, knowledge of applicable legislation and the departmentâ??s policies and procedures, knowledge of the departmentâ??s administrative processes, practices and procedures and written communication.

Salary: $1,625 to $1,971 bi-weekly
