Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations
- Provide customer service in accordance with Scotia Service Standards
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
- Provides exceptional customer service support on account opening related queries by remaining current and informed on existing and new industry regulations and firm policies and procedures
- Maintain client account integrity by performing sundry items as required
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
- Contribute to a high-performance, inclusive work environment
- Provide coverage and support for other members of the team when needed
Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We'd love to work with you if:
- You are enrolled in post-secondary education
- You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions
- You are able to provide reliable and timely responses professionally to direct inquiries from advisors, trading desk, other broker/dealers, various operations and support departments and management
- You have strong communication and organizational skills
- You have thorough business analysis, analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- You have strong written and verbal skills required to prepare communications and interact effectively with other Bank departments and external parties
- You have excellent time management skills
- You have thorough PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
