We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Opthalmic Assistant to play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients as they undergo life-changing eye treatments.

What you Will be Doing

  • Using the latest technology to perform testing for patients.
  • Assisting during the pre-op exams and filling the patient's charts accurately.
  • Checking and calculating things such as the thickness of a cornea, mapping the eyes for aberrations and inconsistencies that may cause decreased vision.
  • Answering patient's questions and ensuring a high quality of service.
  • Carefully explaining the use of each test and what it is used for.

What you Will Bring

  • Experience in working in a medical\or clinical environment is an asset
  • Comfortable in working in close proximity to others
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience in customer service/client care role
  • Demonstrated capability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changes
  • A keen interest in a career in the health services field
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Open to the possibility of being challenged and learning new skills
