Position: Part Time Temporary Security Guard
Site: City of Brampton - Central Public School- 24 Alexander St - Brampton, ON L6V1H6
Hours: Saturday and Sunday - 0830-1530Payrate: $18.50/hr.
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

• As soon as the security guard on shift books on/off, the guard will be provided with a DAR sheet and radio by a mobile guard.• Security will respond to all medical emergencies and provide appropriate First Aid / CPR for all types of injuries observed.• Security will obtain the name of students using empty classrooms by requesting to see Student ID cards and will document the name of the student and student ID numbers on the DAR sheet.• While on patrol Security will ensure that all areas on the main floor, second floor, and exterior are clear of any disturbances, and / or safety concerns.• The Guard's use of personal cellular devices, headphones and ear pods are strictly prohibited while on duty.• All breaks must be communicated to Control and the Guard must remain on site for their breaks.• Lunches and Breaks can be taken in the designated eating area. (The Supervisors Office).• All incidents must be reported to control via Radio and entered into a Daily Report form.• Daily Activity Reports (DAR) entries must be completed while on shift with entries being made every 15 mins. As well as to complete an incident report whenever an incident occurs.• Security must exercise high communication and customer service when interacting with the public and represent the City of Brampton in the best possible light.• Security is not to leave the site until a relief security guard is present.• Security is not to be sitting down for extended periods of time and shall remain in full uniform and aware of all surroundings at all times.
