We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant with or without experience to support our existing team in Halifax, Nova Scotia, during March and April of 2025.
Summary
The Receptionist excels in greeting clients in person and on the telephone and directing them to the appropriate resource in our offices, getting documents signed by clients, and taking payments. We have a strong culture of providing friendly, fast and excellent client service and working hard to help our clients with all their business and personal needs.
Primary Duties of Role:
Greeting clients and directing their enquiries to the appropriate person
Receiving, logging, and distributing client documents
Preparing documents for mailing, including using a postage machine, printing labels, etc.
Answering the phone in a friendly, professional manner and directing the call to the correct person
Receiving mail and other deliveries
Taking client payments
Assist other team members, as and when required
Other duties as and when required
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Administration would be an advantage
1-3 years experience within a large organization preferred
Meticulous with great attention to detail
Ethical and accountable
Respectful of deadlines
Team player with very good interpersonal skills
Solid communication skills both written and verbal
Able to work full-time hours during February, March and April, 2025
