Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with 8+ years of experience in software development and 2+ years in a leadership role. The successful candidate will have expertise in Java Spring Boot, database technologies, and front-end frameworks. This role involves leading a development team, collaborating with designers, architects, and Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and efficient systems. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with IAM (Identity and Access Management) standards and support the technology asset owner in achieving business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the team.
• Plan and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely delivery of technical milestones.
• Support career growth and skill development within the team.
Technical Delivery
• Design, develop, and deploy applications using Java Spring Boot and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to create scalable, maintainable, and secure system architectures.
• Ensure the delivery of efficient, high-performing systems that meet business and technical requirements.
• Work with RTEs and stakeholders to align project timelines and goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Support the technology asset owner in decision-making and project execution.
• Partner with designers, architects, and business teams to refine requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in technical reviews to ensure alignment with overall enterprise architecture.
Standards and Compliance
• Ensure that all systems are developed in compliance with IAM standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain technical documentation.
• Proactively address potential security and performance issues during the development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 8+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot and strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and database optimization techniques.
• Front-end development experience using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, best practices, and architecture principles.
• Experience working with IAM protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience with managing system migrations or upgrades adhering to security standards.
