The Department of Management in the Gerald Schwartz School of Business is inviting applications for a Limited Term Appointment in Management. This position is a sabbatical replacement for 9 months, from September 2025 - May 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver courses in management (e.g., strategic management, organizational behaviour, leadership, business ethics, etc.) and international business.

Candidates will be considered based on their combination of education and relevant work experience. Applicants should possess, or be near completion of, a PhD in Management or a related area. Recent teaching or relevant industry experience will be considered an asset. The successful candidate will be foremost a skilled teacher who is committed to excelling in an undergraduate, experiential learning environment. The Department is also seeking candidates who are committed to contributing to StFX's priorities of equity, diversity, and inclusion, with preference given to candidates of diverse backgrounds, who can bring their perspectives and lived experiences to this position.

This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

About the Department of Management at Schwartz

The Department of Management is one of the three departments within the Gerald Schwartz School of Business, which offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with several degree streams, post-baccalaureate diplomas in various business-related subjects, a five-year two-degree Entrepreneurship and Human Nutrition pathway, and co-op degree options. The Management department consists of faculty members who research and teach courses in the areas of Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Management & Leadership. Our historic residential campus is home to a population of around 5,000 students, approximately one-in-five of whom are in a Business program.
