Job Summary
This position provides advanced administrative and confidential support for the Director(s) and Clinical Chiefs for programs in the Hospital & Clinical Services and Primary Care & Community Services portfolios in the Eastern Rural Zone.
The Clerk IV will be responsible for prioritizing work in day-to-day operations, organizing and managing schedules, drafting and typing correspondence/reports and other necessary documents. They will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, recording and transcribing minutes, and preparing and distributing agendas, minutes and other related information. The Clerk IV will prepare presentations as well as obtain information for the completion of a variety of reports and other documents. They will also organize and maintain a filing system. They will be responsible for interacting with other directors/managers, physician leadership, management support, clients/families, community-based organizations and the Department of Health and Community Services/other Government Departments as well as the general public. The Clerk IV may also provide confidential assistance to members of the Management Team as necessary. Other related duties as required.

Job Qualifications
Education
Successful completion of a two-year Office Administration or Business Administrative program from an approved/recognized college is required.
Experience
A minimum of three years' experience within the last five in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Meditech would be an asset.
Demonstrated ability to provide quality work in a timely manner.
Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated effective problem solving and analytical skills.
Proven ability to work with limited supervision in a dynamic work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a deadline driven, team-orientated environment.
