What you will do?
Reporting to the Bridge Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- assisting with various bridge and culvert maintenance;
- painting;
- jack hammering;
- assisting with construction of formwork;
- installing signs;
- patching bridges (shoveling and raking asphalt);
- installing and repairing guiderails and culverts;
- maintaining buildings and grounds;
- traffic control.
Work environment:
- Office location: Moncton and Rexton
- Work holidays, weekends, shift and/or variable hours
- May work in adverse road and weather conditions and working from heights

Essential qualifications:
- Completion of grade ten (10) and a minimum of one (1) year related work experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driverâ??s License as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and/or French is required. Please state your language capability.

Asset Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate experience in the maintenance and construction of bridges. Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.

SALARY: $21.87 per hour, based on 40 hours work per week.
