Title : D365 Technical Specialist

Salary Band : $ 79,996 - $ 84,996/ year

In this role, you will :

  • Work with Microsoft D365 and Power Platform based applications' ongoing maintenance, upgrades, end user access and configuration.
  • Ensures that D365 applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Reviews and analyzes existing D365 applications' effectiveness and efficiency, and then develops strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
  • Analyzes documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
  • Deploys new D365 Finance and Operations applications, D365 CRM/CE applications, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.

  • Provides Tier 2 technical support for D365 applications, resolving complex issues and escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate team or vendor.
  • Collaborates with the Tier 1 support team to ensure timely and effective resolution of end-user issues.
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs, to assist end-users and the Tier 1 support team.

What we are looking for :

  • University Degree (Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related field preferred) or equivalent certification or experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business and systems analysis in a project environment.
  • Proven experience in the direction, development, and implementation of D365 and Power Platform-based software solutions.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with automated software management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of and experience withMicrosoft Lifecycle Services (LCS), including its tools and methodologies for managing the application lifecycle of D365 implementations.
  • Familiarity withMicrosoft Cloud technologies, such as Azure, and their integration with D365.
  • Experience withcloud-based deploymentand management of D365 applications.
  • Understanding ofcloud securityprinciples and best practices, and their application to D365 implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power App, Power Automate and Power BI software.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to conduct research into software.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Working Conditions :

  • This position is required to work from home.
  • Some travel across Canada may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
  • Participating in on-call rotation is required.
