About Us:
With over two decades of experience, The Panel Shop, part of the Pennecon Services and Maintenance Division, leads the industry in designing and producing custom industrial control panels. Established in 1995 in Fredericton, NB, we provide world-class design, programming, assembly, testing, and commissioning services across North America. Our panels are QA tested, guaranteed, and certified to CSA C22.2 No286 and UL 508A standards.
Position: Field Services Technician
Are you a high-energy, results-driven professional with a passion for innovation and teamwork? We're looking for an experienced Field Services Technician to join The Panel Shop family!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, start-ups, optimizations, and overhauls.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues independently.
- Work as part of a dynamic team to uphold high standards of productivity and efficiency.
- Adhere to and promote company safety practices and policies.
- Manage and document field service and programming tasks, ensuring timely updates to project documentation.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts during emergency and breakdown situations.
- Complete and submit all work documentation promptly to support the invoicing process.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with PLC software (e.g., Allen Bradley RSlogix)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, organizational, and computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to safety and quality standards and organizational policies
