Millwright Apprentice

Are you interested in an opportunity for a great career start and work in Newfoundland and Labrador? As a Millwright Apprentice, you will get hands on experience as part of NL Hydro's Apprenticeship program. For the successful candidate, we will establish a training plan to provide a great learning experience within our operations.
The apprenticeship will be based at our Hydro Generating Plant in Muskrat Falls.
You are responsive to feedback, welcome diversity and enjoy working with a dynamic team. Additionally, you are able to effectively communicate and work in a dynamic environment.
Job Requirements:
- You have graduated high school, have completed a minimum one-year pre-employment millwright program (block 1), and are registered or eligible to register as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Apprentice.
- You have thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules and must possess an appropriate valid driver's license.
- You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the company's Safety and Health Program.
- You will also be responsible for performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.
