Position Purpose
The Optimization Execution Specialist is focused on developing and maintaining the product data standards on HomeDepot.ca. The successful candidate creates and implements processes that optimize the presentation of the product data and ensures multi-channel data alignment between HomeDepot.ca and the Home Depot Retail Stores. This role is responsible to coordinate with all internal and external partners to meet deadlines, budget and strategic objectives of the e-Commerce Onboarding team. The Optimization Execution Specialist creates, executes and impacts product data standard programs in HomeDepot.ca to support a Multi-Channel business environment.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Creates and implements processes to optimize the efficiency of enhanced product data implementation online
  • Responsible for content modifications, additions, deletions and implementing approved content enhancements within a web-based content management system
  • Liaise with Onboarding team, Online Merchants and Visual Merchandise Managers to identify and prioritize enhancement requirements
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to develop product data standard processes and review programs to drive enhanced product data on HomeDepot.ca
  • Continually monitor the website in a proactive manner to ensure that enhanced information is accurate, content is current and pages are free of errors
  • Governs and executes product level attribute data including naming conventions, SEO optimizations, comparison standardization, etc.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Must fulfill minimum time in position and performance management code requirements of M+
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree/diploma program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job is required
  • 2-3 years of Content Management or related experience
  • Ability to consistently deliver results and meet deadlines
  • Strong multi-tasking and organization skills with the ability to flex and remain objective
  • Well-developed project management skills including exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills appropriate for all levels of the organization
  • Ability to execute on high level strategy
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and develop tactical and strategic solutions
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
