We currently have a 18 months contract opportunity for a Senior ERP Specialist-Business Solutions. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

As an Senior ERP Specialist-Business Solutions with Sobeys, you will:

  • Responsible for collaborating with the Business Process Tower Leads for ensuring that the ERP business process design provide s an end-to-end view of steps, roles and
  • interactions within and across teams and business functions, SAP modules, and other enabling systems and data
  • Responsible for collaborating with the Business Process Tower Leads for ensuring that change impacts are captured within and beyond the functional teams
  • Collaborates with all Leads to understand and document end-to-end business process integration points from each functional area; facilitates and contributes to cross-
  • functional solution, testing and deployment discussions and relevant program activities (e.g., business process documentation, etc.)
  • Collaborates with Business Analysts, Senior Business Analysts and Process Architects to scope and plan process work aligned with program/project needs
  • Responsible for for supporting connections between Leads for all areas to enable an integrated solution; collaborates closely with the IT resources to relay the connection points between functional areas and help identify the testing and deployment integration points
  • Responsible for contributing to defining, and tracking the activities for the business readiness scorecard for business process integration
  • Actively identifies issues and risks and develops mitigation tactics; reports on integration status update during Lead's meeting
  • Provides support to Business Solution Lead on reporting systems integration status updates, issues, risks, mitigations to Steering Committee
  • Provides support to Business Solution Lead to ensure that the integrations meet the business requirements and are in adherence with Sobeys methodologies and standards and regulatory compliance
  • Supports cross-functional activities (e.g. meetings, workshops, etc.) pertaining to the integration of a new system with existing applications / systems
  • Collaborates with Business Solution Lead, OCM Lead and Training Lead to develop content and train end-users on proper use and maintenance of the integrated systems; provide ongoing support to ensure adoption of new ways of working
  • Responsible for contributing to cutover and hyper care planning and execution; contributes to cutover decision-making and participates in cutover and hypercare

  • Responsible for collaborating with external stakeholders, including third party partners / vendors within the Program
  • Collaborates with the Value Management Lead to identify, articulate and track business value delivered by the ERP Program, in alignment with the Program vision, objectives, and guiding principles as set by Program Sponsorship
  • Collaborates with Program stakeholders (e.g. tower leads, business process owners, etc.) to identify areas where the ERP Program can create business value such as improved efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced business processes.

What you have to offer:

Your experience and resume will show us:

  • Undergraduate Degree in computer science or Business and a minimum of 5 years experience in IT projects and processes.
  • Experience in conducting IT process analysis, documenting "As Is" and "To Be" processes while applying best practices around process management.
  • Experience in developing and deploying standard enterprise-wide process methodologies.
  • Experience in large scale transformational programs. S/4 Retail ERP Transformation experience will be an asset.
  • Retail industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to apply technology and architecture principles to business strategies.
  • Experience in working with outsourced service providers and vendor management.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to communicate technical issues to help others make sound decisions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguous tasks - giving them shape, context and defining a plan.
  • Strong ability to build trusted cross-functional relationships.
