Their specialties include streaming media architectures, multiplatform applications, systems integration platforms and data analytics systems. They work with many industry-leading clients including Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount, PlutoTV, Apple, Emera, IBM, and Sesame.

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Growth Manager - Media & Entertainment to join their team of dedicated professionals. This is a hybrid position based out of their Halifax office.

Are you a strategic thinker and relationship builder who thrives at the intersection of technology and media? As the Growth Manager for Media & Entertainment at REDspace, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, creating transformative partnerships, and delivering innovative solutions to some of the biggest names in the industry. With a strong solutions-selling background and a proven track record in complex technical sales, you'll lead their inside sales team, shape strategic plans, and foster high-impact relationships with industry leaders. This is an opportunity to elevate their market presence and drive continuous, qualified growth in an exciting, fast-evolving sector.

This role has two key functions:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target key accounts within the media and entertainment sector.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers at these companies, including technical stakeholders.
    • Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions that leverage the company's software products and services.
    • Articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Negotiate and close high-value deals.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, engineering, etc.) Drive lead generation process and manage the BDR lead generation team: to ensure client satisfaction and success.
  • Drive the lead generation process and manage the BDR lead generation team:
    • Create and execute comprehensive lead generation plans aligned with overall sales and marketing objectives.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance lead generation skills, product knowledge, and outreach techniques.
    • Monitor individual and team performance metrics, track progress towards goals, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Attend and represent REDspace at key industry events.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, with a focus on software and technology advancements.

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, or a technical degree with an emphasis on business or marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or a technical sales and leadership role within the media and entertainment industry with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales lead generation or inside sales leadership role, with a demonstrated track record of success in leading teams to achieve lead generation goals.
  • Strong understanding of the media and entertainment landscape, including key players, challenges, and opportunities, as well as the role of software and technology in this industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of modern digital sales and marketing tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, particularly with technical decision-makers.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative, drive, and a passion for technology.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in large-scale software or technical solution sales.
  • An understanding of emerging technologies, such as AI and machine learning, and their applications in the media industry.
  • Strong network within the media and entertainment industry.
