Here's where you'll be focusing:
- Support the implementation of the strategic approach and roadmap for Empire shopper marketing strategy integrating supplier partners into the sponsorship portfolio and deliver innovative partner programs that support loyalty initiatives & differentiate Empire from its competitors
- Responsible for supporting program development with consideration to wholistic supplier marketing opportunities and increasing supplier revenue through program execution and adhering to organizational guardrails
- Support 3rd party agency oversight related to National in-store demo, in-store Radio Advertising & In-store signage as well as oversight of supplier engagement (national & local) and investment across Empire marketing assets and sponsorship or brand programs
- Responsible for leading day-to-day agency management of Sobeys Experiential marketing assets; Mobile Food Experience & Hologram
- Responsible for leading approval process of creative executions, POS and marketing communication plans for supplier integrated programs as well as in-store demo, in-store radio & in-store signage programs
- Responsible for coordination of in-store demo program, in-store radio advertising & in-store signage advertising including management of process with brand approvals, merchandising approval, all required documentation related to food-safety, insurance, permitting, legal etc. as well as cross-functional review and any required sign-offs from leadership.
- Use insights, trends, and forecasts to review and analyze program performance for both supplier partner performance and customer experience, using insights-based approach to optimize overall campaign performance
- Responsible for financial administration and supporting Shopper Marketing budget related to all partners and communications channels such as agency fees, in-store signage, digital, media and loyalty promotions to optimize profitability. Collaborate with the In-store Marketing, Customer Insights, Brand, Loyalty, Creative Studio and other brand teams to develop best-in-class marketing initiatives.
What you have to offer:
- An Undergraduate Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or College Diploma and minimum 3-4 years relevant experience
- Previous experience in Demo Program executions or comparable client service relationship management exposure in a similar discipline
- Strategic thinker with the ability to sell ideas internally throughout the organization as well as externally with third parties
- Proven track record of managing diverse projects and working teams to reach goals and timelines
- Curious, creative, passion for food and solution oriented
