Rate of Pay: $21.00 - 23.00 /hour (based on experience)
Available Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 4:30pm)

We are hiring a Shop Technician/Heavy Duty Parts Installer for client in St. Catharines that manufactures high quality trucks and trucking equipment. Successful applicants will have 1.5-2 years of experience in an manufacturing role (automotive exp preferred) assembling or installing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. Job Duties:
* Prepare and install truck components (e.g., weight calibration, pneumatic and electrical systems)
* Build and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems for dump trucks and other trucking equipment
* Perform quality inspections on equipment before/after installation
* Follow safety guidelines set out in the facility
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace
* Actively participate in department meetings
* Undergo general training programs
* Lifting up to 50lbs throughout the shift
* Other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

* 1.5-2 years of manufacturing (automotive preferred) or technician experience
* Strong communication
* Experience using hand and power tools
* Welding experience (preferred)
* Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
* CSA Safety Shoes
* Willing to provide criminal record check
