As a member of the Supply Chain Department, this position will be responsible for the following:
- Administrative and customer service support for the Product Supply Department with an emphasis on Private Order administration and Policy compliance, and regular purchase order administration.
- Navigation of a Purchase Order and Warehouse Management software system for booking Advance Shipment Notices.
- Cross-reference supplier order acknowledgements against Purchase Order costs and quantities to identify any discrepancies, and advise relevant parties.
- Responsible for electronic transmission of NLC purchase orders to a third party bonded warehouse to adhere to Canada Border Services Agency requirements in a timely manner (over 800 orders transmitted per year).
- Respond to Private Order customer inquiries via email and telephone.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Records Management Filing System, both manual and electronic.
- Responsible for assisting with the Claims Administration process.
- Responsbile for placing stationary orders and using ReqLogic software for issuing requisitions.
- Responsbile for any updates or adjustments to personnel timecards, where necessary.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution diploma/degree program with major course works in Business/Office Administration.
- At least two years of recent experience in an administrative support role in a Supply Chain environment and experience with a Supply Chain Management Information system such as Merchandise Management System (MMS).
- Familiarity with freight forwarding website applications.
- Thorough knowledge of the full suite of MS Office applications.

Salary CG 24: $41,605.20 - $45,827.60 annually
