Position Type: Term to December 2026 - Part time (18.125 hours)
Location: Saint John or Moncton (Part-Time)
Salary Range: $33.85 to $47.70 per hour. Successful candidates may be eligible for a higher maximum step, up to $52.08 per hour, based on their level of post-secondary education.
You will be collaborating with and reporting to the Academic Chair - Health and Partnerships, School of Health and Wellness, as a member of the faculty team, you are responsible for planning and preparing instructional materials and resources; establishing and managing a positive learning environment; instructing and evaluating students; building and sustaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders; as well as other related duties.
Specific instructional areas may include, but may not be limited to:
- Delivery of nursing studies
- Instruction of nursing labs
- Facilitating nursing clinicals
The successful candidate will have the knowledge, skills, and ability to teach the Registered Nurse students professional development courses in either web-based classrooms, face to face, lab setting and/or hospital settings. The candidates will also teach, supervise, counsel, guide and evaluate students. The successful candidate may be required to travel for lab.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Nursing with recent and related years of experience.
- Candidates must be currently registered and in good standing with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick or be eligible for registration.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have a minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in acute care nursing.
- Highly flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
- Physical able to facilitate clinicals in client centered environments.
- The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of immunization and criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
