Job Description:
TD's Digitization eComposition team is looking for a highly motivated developer to lead, develop, and manage forms on the OpenText Exstream Application (formerly HP Exstream) and other Document Composition platforms across the organization.
The primary accountabilities for this position are;
- Responsible for managing, leading and coordinating all technical template aspects of medium to large sized projects. Ensure timelines and requirements are met and a defect free product is delivered to the business.
- Perform in-depth analysis on data rationalization, data mapping on new applications being on boarded to Exstream. Host discussions with technical teams on application integrations.
- Work closely with print vendors on negotiating specifications on print ready files, manifest files and reconciliation processes.
- Provide input and document best practices and template standards for the team. Guide and train team members on these best practices. Routinely host code review sessions with team members and projects. Provide guidance and solutions on any technical limitations encountered.
- Manage and maintain the teams forms inventory solution.
- Creation/migration, maintenance and support of dynamic forms, notices, letters or statements utilizing various Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Tools (i.e. OpenText Exstream, Apache FOP, AEM Designer, etc…)
- Adhere to TD Brand standards established for all TD forms and demonstrate consistent use of coding best practices.
- Attend daily meetings with Business and Technical Partners to understand requirements and objectives and transform into technical deliverables.
- Provide technical support during production deployments and defect triages.
- Participate in design discussions on data mappings and application integrations with other technical teams.
- Work effectively as a team, supporting other members of the team.
Job Requirements

- Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate in computer related program.
- 5-10 Years' experience in OpenText Exstream.
- 5+ Years of leading technical aspects of projects with a mix of onshore and offshore resources. Lead medium to large-scaled initiatives.
- 3+ Years of software/application development experience.
- 2+ years Accessibility development experience on Exstream
- A passionate individual with a strong willingness to learn ECM Products and Platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving / troubleshooting skills
- Worked in an Agile environment and familiar with all the associated tools and ceremonies.
- Ability to understand complex information, summarize and present in a clear, concise fashion to all levels of technology and business contacts
- Compile, communicate and present technology roadmaps. Document and analyze current technology stack, identify gaps, redundancies and areas for improvement. Work closely with other Technology Teams and Product Vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively individually, with minimal supervision, with teams and remain flexible with shifting priorities
- Commitment to and belief in the quality of your deliverables
- Experience in people management and team building would be an asset
