Job Title: Custodian

Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00AM-5:00PM
Rate of Pay: $18.83

We are currently looking for a Custodian to join our client's team in Ahmerst, NS. Our client has grown to become a leader of their industry in providing quality baked bread products. The Custodian will be part of a team that performs job duties in an efficient and effective manner all while following safety and food policies.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the office as well as the plant.
* Clean washrooms, lunchrooms, and offices
* Replenish consumables such as tissue, soap, and drinking water
* Pick up and dispose of garbage
* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
* Conduct floor waxing and scrubbing
* Express ideas for improvements
* Ensure parts inventory is accurate by signing parts out consistently
* Participate in shift change communicating all relevant information
* Engage in maintaining general cleanliness of work area
* Comply with the company safety programs, singing off annually on the policies
* Comply with the company food safety program, signing off annually on the policy
* Other duties as assigned

Candidate Qualifications:
* Years of Experience: 0-2
* Education Level - Secondary School or GED
* Preferred Experience - Janitoral
