Job Title: Carpenter
Location: Dieppe, NB
Shift: Monday to Friday, Shift varies
Wage: $17.00/hour

Looking to expand your hands on skills while working for a fantastic company? We're currently hiring Certified Carpenters for our client in Dieppe, NB. Our client is looking for hard working, full-time, long-term employees to join their growing team to work Monday to Friday. Pay rate is $17.00/hour.

Responsibilities:
* Demonstrates skills in the safe operation of hand and power tools, such as temporary generators, ladders, table saws, routers and sanding equipment
* Erecting and disabling scaffolding
* Assists with demolition and debris disposal
* Set up and take down poly containment and drop sheets to accommodate work
* Secure exterior building materials when required
* Construct and secure temporary and permanent partitions
* Help maintain a safe working environment as well as maintaining a clean work space

Carpenter Qualifications:
* 2+ years' experience working in the field - Minimum Block 2 Preferred
* Knowledge in building code and construction math
* Experience in finish carpentry skills
* Experience in the installation of insulation and vapor barriers
* Experience with wood and steel stud framing application
* Clean criminal record a MUST
* Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean drivers abstract
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
* Basic computer skills
* Physically fit - frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
