Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Originating in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and now headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.

We are recruiting for a self-motivated, dynamic and skilled person to fill the position of the Moosehead Cold Beer Store Manager. The Manager position maximizes Moosehead's competitive advantage by overseeing our unique retail location in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.

The Cold Beer Store Manager is accountable for managing the staff, while maintaining Moosehead's high standards for quality & cleanliness. The manager will be a key brand ambassador that will have a strong acumen for business development and building relationships in the local community while creating new Moosehead fans.

Responsabilités
  • Manage the operations and staff of the store including scheduling & payroll. Key tasks include beer ordering, inventories, safety & security inspections.
  • Growing the business while supporting the larger sales initiatives of Moosehead Breweries in the province of Nova Scotia.
  • Develop relationships with local business & community organizations.
  • Maintain weekly social media promotions & content while looking for new and creative ways to develop local advertising plans.
  • Champion education for both customers on brands, products and promotions.
  • Through a can-do attitude and mentality of continuous improvement, work directly with Moosehead leadership to identify and address problems, challenges and opportunities.
  • Maintain the Cold Beer Store property with support from the building owners.
  • Analyze sales trends to make sound business decisions and strong business presentations.
Qualifications
  • Previous sales management experience is a strong asset, even better if it is in the Beverage Alcohol, or consumer packaged goods space.
  • Excellent time-management and planning skills, with an ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, including quantitative analysis.
  • Must be competent in the use of computer productivity software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Canva
  • An appreciation for beer is considered a strong asset!
  • A valid forklift certification would be considered as asset.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours - evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 20 kilogram's multiple times per day.
