The Registrar's Office at Mount Saint Vincent University invites applications for the position of Enrolment Services Associate.

Responsabilités

The Registrar's Office houses Admissions, Registration, Systems, and Financial Aid. The Enrolment Services Associate provides administrative and data validation support to the Admissions and Registration team and assists students in understanding policies and procedures associated with the admissions/registration process. There are 5 ESAs that focus on a variety of tasks. These can change depending on operational requirements but include:

  • Assisting students at the Service counter, which includes registrations, letter and transcript production. Provides accurate information on academic policy and procedures;
  • Responding to inquiries via email, phone or in person;
  • Processing registration documents (electronic and hard copy) and entering them in the Student Information System (Colleague);
  • Maintaining all registration document scanning and indexing;
  • Providing support in areas within the Registrar's Office including, but not limited to, reactivations, visiting student information, program changes, name and address changes, application and registration documents entry and waitlist management;
  • Participate in special events as required.
Qualifications

A 2-year Community College diploma in Office Administration or a similar program complemented by 1 year of experience in a similar administrative setting is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Previous work experience in a university setting and an understanding of academic policies will be considered an asset. Strong communication and inter-personal skills are essential. A strong commitment to customer service which includes a high level of attention to detail, efficient time management and priority setting skills are also required. Candidates should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable using Microsoft Teams for communications and virtual meetings. Experience working with business enterprise systems such as Colleague, Banner, PeopleSoft, etc. will be considered an asset.

Classification: 5 Month, Full-time NSGEU Term Contract Position
Starting Salary: $36,100 per annum (prorated for the 5-month term)
