Jump Recruitment is partnering with Vida Nova in their search for a General Manager for their newly established addiction treatment facility.

Position Overview:

The General Manager at Vida Nova will lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring the effective implementation of our recovery programs and services. This position requires a seasoned leader with expertise in operational management, financial oversight, and team leadership. You will work closely with the Board of Directors to shape and execute strategic initiatives, build community relationships, and maintain high standards of care. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a respectful, empowering environment for both staff and clients while ensuring Vida Nova's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all operational aspects of Vida Nova, including client care, staff management, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of recovery programs and services.
  • Manage the center's budget, financial operations, and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Supervise client intake, treatment, and discharge processes, ensuring alignment with Vida Nova's mission and high standards of care.
  • Develop and maintain an operations manual in line with accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives, reporting on progress, goals, and outcomes.
  • Ensure and maintain accreditation with the Canadian Council of Health Services or equivalent regulatory bodies.
  • Manage relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and external partners to expand the center's impact.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Social Work, Business Administration or related field.
  • Training in addiction treatment is an asset.
  • At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in staff management and program oversight.
  • Proven experience in managing operations within clinical settings, preferably in addiction treatment or mental health services.
  • Fundraising experience, including proposal writing and securing grants.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors and various community stakeholders.
  • Must undergo a criminal record check, including vulnerable sector screening.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
