Description of the Role

As a Shipper/Receiver, your primary responsibility is to ensure that inventory is efficiently and accurately received at or transferred from the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process shipping requests, including warranties, recalls and inter-store stock transfers
  • Prepare and submit store and Head Office documentation as required
  • Maintain organization in the backroom
  • Check and ensure correct product pricing before moving product to the sales floor
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual inventory count
  • Comply with OH&S and Loss Prevention Standards

Required Skills

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the game of hockey
  • Previous retail inventory control or warehouse experience is an asset
  • Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check (Must be 18 or older to complete a background check)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Computer experience is an asset
