Demands, duties, qualifications Definition of Work: Working with members of the Volunteer Resources Team, this position will assist with the development and implementation of volunteer programs and volunteer recruitment including interview, reference and screening processes, onboarding/orientation of volunteers, and ensuring data quality within the volunteer database. This position will connect with community partners to promote volunteering including presentations, participate in careers days at high schools and post-secondary institutions, and perform volunteer recruitment activities at public venues and events. This position supports the volunteer programs at both Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville and Bay St. George Long Term Care in Stephenville Crossing. Other duties as required.

Qualifications: Completion of a two-year Office Administration Program which has provided training in typing, bookkeeping and office practices. Proficiency in personal computers with specific knowledge of Windows, word processing, and spreadsheets is also required.

Note: The use of a private vehicle is a condition of employment.

Please note that the incumbent may be required to work some weekends and evenings as required by the employer.

A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
