We are currently seeking an HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team based in the Firm's Halifax, NS office.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Close Date: December 1, 2024

The Opportunity:

An integral member of the Human Resources team, the HR Advisor is responsible for supporting programs to help align human capital with the Firm's strategic goals. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of programs, including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, process improvement, DE&I initiatives, corporate wellness, staff events, and employee relations.

The Firm's HR Advisors act as a primary resource for managers and staff with HR-related questions and concerns, while also providing support to the HR management team with departmental tasks and projects by conducting research, sharing ideas, and improving processes.

The successful candidate will take a lead role on the Firm's recruitment initiatives for all staff recruitments, carrying out various recruitments from start to finish. This entails drafting and posting job opportunities, interviewing candidates, attending career fairs, completing reference checks, and providing guidance to hiring managers during the selection process.

If you have a minimum of three years of experience leading recruitment processes and supporting HR programs in a professional services environment, we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will have completed a university degree and/or college diploma with a concentration in human resources, and requires proficiency in using various HRIS. A CPHR designation (or working towards this designation) would be an asset.
