About the Role

The Manager, Corporate Operational Resources (CORe) reports to the VP, Finance and Corporate Operational Resources. The Manager, CORe is responsible for a broad base of activities encompassed under facilities and administrative management. This includes managing: facilities, security and safety; and managing administrative functions: procurement processes and reporting, client focused home modification/construction projects, the printing and postal service teams and the front-office reception. This role is responsible for assisting the Vice President in departmental operational planning and in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. Establishes and implements performance standards and measures and being accountable for meeting service and performance goals for the department.

This position is responsible for all management functions of the CORe team and leading the following: projects, organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources, budgeting, financial tracking, and managing procurement and contract management processes when applicable for the department.

The manager contributes to the overall success of the WCBNS and ensures the CORe team is aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. This includes leadership and development of staff, change management, corporate growth and organizational objectives.

Your Experience & Skills

  • Graduation from university with a degree in engineering, architecture or business, or a degree supplemented by relevant additional formal education such as, but not limited to, construction, engineering, architecture, and/or building systems/facilities management.
  • A minimum of 5+ years' related experience in facilities management, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in progressively senior roles with demonstrated leadership accountabilities.
  • In depth experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management stakeholders.
  • Membership in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) or other facilities management related organization is an asset.

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,359 - $112,951.
