Job Description:

Cybercrime Customer Protection Analyst (Canada)

The Cybercrime Customer Protection Analyst will play a pivotal role on the Cybercrime Customer Protection team to protect TD customers from digital threats. The analyst will provide research, evaluation, assessment, operational, reporting and / or analytical support on Technology Controls / Information Security related programs and initiatives. May participate and provide advice / guidance on Cyber Security projects of moderate complexity.

  • Supports the Cybercrime Customer Protection team to build and mature capabilities to mitigate digital threats to our customers.
  • Duties will include mitigating phishing, smishing and vishing threats targeting TD Customers
  • Taking on a leadership role within the team to ensure operational effectiveness and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Identifying new methods to detect, inspect, research and mitigate phishing threats
  • Enhancing executive level metrics and reporting
  • Building out process documentation
  • Vendor management to ensure service quality
  • Special projects or initiatives

Depth & Scope:

  • Provides enterprise wide subject matter expertise on cyber security and/or fraud
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and creates gap analysis reports
  • Responds to Security Incidents, provides guidance, research and root cause analysis and develops remediation plans
  • Participates and provides advice / guidance on special projects and takes initiative to identify new opportunities to drive positive change
  • Analysis and contribution of enterprise level metrics and reporting
  • Prioritizes and manages own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines under guidance of management

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required
  • 5-7 years related experience required
  • Security+, CISSP, or other Cybersecurity certifications preferred
  • Experience in Cybercrime, Fraud, or Cyber Threat Management preferred
  • Strong written and procedural documentation skills
  • Ability to independently identify, address and resolve problems
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills
  • Team player

  • Experience within financial services
  • Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements and priorities
