Job Summary
NL Health Services Urban Zone is inviting applications for a Pediatric Allergy & Immunologist (or equivalent) to join the Janeway Children's Health and Rehabilitation Centre in St. John's, NL.
The successful candidate will provide individualized direct and indirect patient care to patients within the program. The incumbent will assume an equitable share of the outpatient and inpatient demands of the Division, associated with on call requirements.
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the incumbent would be responsible for the provision of clinical care and teaching of medical learners.
The successful applicant must be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Paediatrics (or equivalent). Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology (or equivalent)
- All applicants must be eligible for licensure to practice by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NL.
- Satisfy credentialing requirements of Services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
Remuneration: Salary and benefits for this position are to be paid in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador. Starting salary will be based on years of clinical experience.
