Western Memorial Regional Hospital, a brand new, state of the art, acute care hospital opened in June 2024, is a 164-bed regional referral centre for Western Newfoundland and provides services to a population base of approximately 80,000 people. We are affiliated with Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador Faculty of Medicine and we encourage and support academic interests. Western Memorial Regional Hospital has a fully developed Stroke Unit, full Rehabilitation Services, Electrodiagnostic and is serviced by 3 CT scanners and 2 MRI scanners.
Qualifications Required: Medical degree, eligible for licensure as a Gastroenterologist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL) and the ability to meet the credentialing requirements of NL Health Services' Discipline of Medicine. We are seeking candidates with the appropriate sub-specialty training. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, laboratory staff and medical professionals are essential. Two years of related experience would be an asset.
