We are searching for a Music Therapist to join our Arborstone Enhanced Care team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity
- Develops, plans, implements, and evaluates comprehensive Music Therapy Programs focusing on the social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual needs of the residents in a variety of settings.
- Assess the abilities and needs of the population served. Establishes goals and objectives to meet identified needs.
- Addresses all music therapy referrals from the interdisciplinary team.
- Prepares rooms and equipment for music therapy programs; prepares material for clients' use; cleans up program areas; maintains proper care and level of supplies and equipment.
- Documents client progress; maintains accurate client records; analyzes data to assist in the development of appropriate programs.
- Attends in-services, workshops, conferences, and other educational sessions for ongoing professional development.
- Coordinates and supervises student placements where applicable.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy, completion of 1000-hour clinical internship.
- Minimum of one-year combined experience in the delivery of music therapy in a health care setting
- Accredited, or in the process of becoming accredited, with the Canadian Association for Music Therapy.
