McInnes Cooper is seeking a motivated and proactive Property Clerk to join our property team in our Moncton office for a full-time permanent position. This position will be responsible for supporting the property team ensuring the overall operational needs of the team are met.
As a Property Clerk, you will be responsible for:
- Open all new property files;
- Assisting the property team in managing the property inbox;
- Support the final reporting process for clients, lenders and third parties;
- Ordering relevant searches;
- Document preparation duties including preparation of letters/transcribing documents, scanning, printing, and making copies; and,
- Assessing the timing of closing dates and prioritizing files accordingly.
The successful candidate will possess the following skill set:
- Office/Legal Administration, Paralegal diploma or related education;
- Minimum of one (1) year experience, preferably within the property field;
- Exceptional time management; excels in a demanding, fast-paced environment, highly detail-oriented, and flexible to changing priorities;
- Exceptional technology skills, with proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office;
- Exceptional communication skills, a special focus on client service and the highest degree of professionalism;
- Working in a team environment, the successful candidate will be a strong team player and have high personal integrity;
- Strong interpersonal skills and independent judgment;
- Experience in a legal support role is an asset; and,
- Experience with property transactions and legal billing systems would be considered an asset.
