Department Overview
The Canadian Payments Platform & Capabilities Team, is part of Enterprise Payments (serving both Canada and the US), which is within TD's Digital Strategy & Payments organization. The Team is responsible for developing and maintaining the near-term strategy, transformation, and execution of TD's Payments roadmap. We focus on initiatives that create business value, improve customer experience, and de-risk the payments made by Canadians. Collectively, these initiatives will enable TD's Next Generation Payments Platform which will allow any customer (business to retail) to make any payment (E-Transfer on Real-Time-Rails, Electronic Funds Transfer, Wires, etc.) to anywhere (domestic or international) at any time (safely and securely).
We work closely with the Lines of Business (Personal Banking, Business Banking, Corporate Commercial) to collect, prioritize, shape, and execute their needs. We also work closely with Digital, Marketing, Fraud, GAML, and Risk to ensure we are building the most convenient and safe payments products for our customers.

TD's Enterprise payments team is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager, who will be the key business decision maker and custodian of end to end vision for TD's Interac Bulk Etransfers product
Reporting to the AVP, Domestic Payments, the successful candidate will be expected to
• "Get Things Done" despite headwinds and the management of multiple complex projects simultaneously, is critical to role success. This role will have significant exposure to executive stakeholders. Hence, excellent communication skills are a must have.
• Be Customer-centric focus, looking at the full E2E experience and be able to translate Etransfer Bulk Product vision into requirements
• Represent Payments business and deliver feature for Etransfers, balancing the customer and business needs while monitoring market trends and keeping a pulse on the competitive landscape.
• Demonstrated experience with business casing (market & financial analysis) and is comfortable & practiced at articulating the benefits (customer & colleague journeys)
• Builds strong partnerships with various stakeholders: technology, architecture, and lines of business
• Contribute to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others, by sharing knowledge and experiences and leveraging best practices.
• Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally
Job Requirements
• Undergraduate degree or product management certificate, and / or
• Ten (10) or more years relevant experience
• Experience/leadership in delivering large scale payments transformation/ modernization initiatives in or around payments
• Thorough understanding of Canadian money movement capabilities and eco-system, and thought leadership required to understand the ever-changing online money movement and payments landscape.
• Knowledge of competitor and market trends
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
• Skill in preparing and managing budgets
• Skill in using analytical software tools, MS Office, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively (both speaking and writing), provide direction and build relationships across teams and functions
