Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Moncton, NB
Shift Available: Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pm
Rate of Pay: $21.00 an hour
Assignment Details:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated individual who is exceptionally organized, detail oriented and seeking potential growth within their role as an Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Support: Provide administrative support to the management team and staff.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and events.
- Document Management: Prepare and organize reports, presentations, and other business documents.
- Communication: Answer phones, handle inquiries, and direct calls as necessary.
- Data Entry: Input and update information into databases, spreadsheets, and company systems.
- Customer Service: Assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Office Supplies & Inventory: Maintain office supplies and ensure that equipment is well-maintained.
- File Management: Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
- Special Projects: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as travel arrangements and event planning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in an office setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
