Oxford Food Group has an opportunities for an Ocean Freight Facilitator, located in Oxford, NS. The position reports to the Shipping & Receiving Department Head.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a weekly schedule for sales orders to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Collaborate closely with Ocean Brokers to secure booking numbers and select appropriate vessels for shipment.
• Review and update freight rates as provided by brokers on a monthly basis to maintain accurate pricing.
• Communicate effectively with departments and select customers to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Solve problems quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field would be considered an asset
• Previous experience would be considered an asset
• Strong computer literacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
